Aristotelis Papageorgiou was born in Athens on September 3, 1965. In 1983, after graduating with honours from the Erasmios Greek-German School of Athens and the 10th Pilot Lyceum of Athens, he enrolled at the National University of Athens Law School from which he graduated in 1987. During his study period, he worked as an insurance advisor at INTERAMERICAN.
In 1988 he became a trainee lawyer at the Law Firm of Periklis & Dimitrios Papageorgiou, with main practicing areas in real estate and businesses, specialising in hotels and tourism.
He was sworn in as a lawyer in 1990 and appointed to the Court of Appeals in 1994. Four years later, in 1998, he was appointed to the Supreme Court. In 2003, having developed business partnerships throughout Greece, he opened the doors to his law firm at 108 Alexandras Avenue.
During his career, he successfully handled cases with considerable business interest, both as a legal representative and as a consultant. His clientele consists of large companies from the tourism and hotel areas, large private schools and vocational training institutes, service providers and merchandise trading companies, supermarket chains, and property development groups.
He is a member of the Athens Bar Association, the Association of Greek Commercialists, and the Hellenic Property Federation.
From 2015 to 2019, he was the General Secretary for the Cultural Center of Roumelioton. From 2008 to 2018, he was the General Secretary of the Cultural Association of the historic village and home of his ancestors- Mavrilo Tymfristos in the prefecture of Fthiotis where he currently works towards the restoration of his hometown monuments.
