Born in Athens on September 3rd, 1965. In 1983, after graduating with honours from the Erasmios Greek-German School of Athens and the 10th Pilot Lyceum of Athens, he enrolled at the National University of Athens Law School from which he graduated in 1987. During his study period he worked as an insurance advisor.
In 1988 he became a trainee lawyer at the Law Firm of Periklis & Dimitrios Papageorgiou, with main practicing areas in real estate and businesses, specialising in hotels and tourism.
In 1990 he was sworn in as a lawyer, and in 1994 he was promoted to lawyer attached to the Court of Appeals and in 1998 to lawyer attached to the Supreme Court. In 2003 he started his own law practice at 108 Alexandras Avenue, having developed business partnerships throughout Greece.
During his career he successfully handled cases with considerable business interest, both as a legal representative and as a consultant. His clientele consists of large companies from the tourism and hotel areas, large private schools and vocational training institutes, service providers and merchandise trading companies, supermarket chains, and property development groups.
He is an active member of the Athens Bar Association, the Association of Greek Commercialists, and of the Hellenic Property Federation.
He is the General Secretary of the Cultural Center of Roumelioton and General Secretary of the Cultural Association of the historic village Mavrilo near Tymfristos of West Fthiotis, the place of origin of his ancestors, where he actively participates in restoration efforts of his hometown monuments.
